Donald Roderick was the son of John Macaulay and Flora Maciver, 7b Tolsta Chaolais.  He married Catherine Macleod, 13a Tolsta Chaolais and settled on 8a Tolsta Chaolais after buying the croft.  Donald and Catherine had four children.
