114029: John Campbell

John, born 1846, was the older son of that name born to Donald Campbell and Ann Morrison. His father, a fisherman, died of drowning whilst John was still a boy. In 1851 John, his younger brother and their widowed mother were living with his maternal grandmother in Borve. In 1855 the family emigrated to Australia on the Royal Albert.
