113390: Rachel MacAskill
Rachel, born 1835 at Loch Lomond, was the daughter of Kenneth MacAskill and Catherine MacPhee. Rachel married Hugh MacLeod at Grand River in 1859. Together they had eight children.
They lived for a while in Provincetown, Massachusetts, returning to Canada in 1869. Rachel survived her husband by eight years, passing away at St Esprit in 1892. She was buried at Fergusons’ Lake Cemetery.
