108548: Roderick Malcolm Maclean
Roderick Malcolm (1904-1976) was a son of Murdo Maclean and Marion Murray, 14 North Shawbost and relocated with his family to Church Street, Stornoway in 1912. He emigrated to Vancouver, British Columbia. He served in the Canadian Army during the Second World War and was on leave in Ardroil at the end of the war, before returning to Vancouver.
He owned his own boat and fished for salmon in Alaska during the summer months. Roderick was unmarried. He died in Vancouver.
