107704: Neil Macdonald

Neil Macdonald (1806-1846) was a son of Malcom Macdonald and Christina Macdonald; it is not certain where the family were living at the time of his birth. By 1820 his father is on the subtenants list for Altenish and the family were settled at  2 Altenish.

In 1826 the family removed to 9 Tong and in 1835 Neil married Catherine Campbell, 14 Tong. The couple settled in Tong and they had five children.

Neil died aged 40 and his widow and children moved to the maternal croft at 14Tong and in 1850 moved to 3 Tong.
