101357: James Macarthur
Seumas Thormoid Sheumais
James (1890-1932) was the son of Norman Macarthur and Mary Mackay, 32 Upper Carloway.
He served in the First World War and was poisoned by Mustard Gas.
At Partick, in 1926, he married Catherine Macarthur, 13 Upper Carloway. James and Catherine settled at 32 Upper Carloway and they had three children.
James died aged 41 as a result of his War injuries.
