68139: 2 Knock Carloway

This croft was first tenanted by Malcolm Macdonald (1776-1847) but it is not known where he originated from.  The croft passed to his son Malcolm (1821-1894) but as he and his wife had no family, it passed to nephew Donald Macdonald (1845-1920) 12 Knock.

Thereafter, it was passed to his son Norman (b1877) and then to his daughter Ann.  The croft remains in the family to this day.
