121410: 4 Grosebay
The first tenant of 4 Grosebay was Neil Macaulay (1777-1853) son of Roderick Uig. Neil passed the croft to Roderick (1819-1873) who lost the croft but remained as a cottar.
Hugh Fraser (1833-1901) was allocated 4 Grosebay and passed the croft to his son Roderick (1869-). The next tenant was Norman Fraser a bachelor who passed the croft to his brother, Murdo. Murdo’s son Angus obtained the croft and passed it to his son, Murdo Angus Fraser.
