The first tenant of 22b Upper Bayble was Roderick Mackenzie (1830-1903) from 25 Crossbost. The croft passed to his son, Donald (1867-) then to his grand-daughter, Catherine Mackenzie and then to great grandson, Kenneth Donald Macleod, a bachelor.
The croft was then passed to Murdo Macleod, 20b Upper Bayble.
