The first tenant of 25 Aird Tong may have been Alexander Maciver, son of Iain, 32 Coll. He did not remain as tenant but lived on the croft as a Cottar until he obtained 33 Aird Tong.

Alexander Macleod (1830-1900) son of William, Vatisker was the next tenant. On the death of Alexander his son, Peter had the croft and he passed 25 Aird Tong to his son in 1925.
