11 Àird Thunga

The first tenant of 11 Aird Tong was Peter Macleod (1801-1860). Peter and his sons, Murdo Peter and Donald all drowned in Broad Bay. The croft was passed to Murdo Smith  the son-in-law of Peter's second wife, Margaret Maclennan. Upon Murdo's death the croft was passed to his son, Peter Smith and he passed 11 Aird Tong to his sister, Mary Smith.
