John Maclennan (1835-1906) became the tenant of this croft on his father Malcolm’s death when 26 Tolsta Chaolais was split between John and his brother Donald, who took 26b Tolsta Chaolais.

The croft passed to John’s son Kenneth (1862-1922) and thereafter to Kenneth’s son, also named Kenneth.
