Donald Macleod (1833-1909) became the tenant of this croft when 25 Tolsta Chaolais was split in c1890.

Donald was married to Catherine Macarthur, 8 Tolsta Chaolais.  There was no issue from the marriage and the croft passed to Catherine’s nephew Malcolm Macarthur, 8b Tolsta Chaolais and then to his son Donald Macarthur.
