15 Thunga

The first tenant of 15 Tong was John Macleod (born 1801) and there is no record of him after 1841. In the early 1840s the croft was allocated to Alexander Thomson (1813-1887), son of  James from Coll and on his death 15 Tong passed to his widow, Christina Macinnes (1815-1893) from 6 Tong. Their son, James Thomson (1848-1929) was passed the croft and in 1929 was passed to his daughter, Catherine.

The present owner is her daughter, Jessie Ann Maclean.
