11 Thunga

11 Tong came into existence in the early 1850's when 13 Tong was split and part of it renamed by Ann Maclean the first tenant of 11 Tong.

In 1858 Ann exchanged crofts with her son-in-law, John Macleod, at 12 Tong, but the pair retained their existing croft numbers. In due course 11 Tong passed to her widowed daughter-in-law, Ann Stewart.
