7 Àird Thunga

The first tenant of 7 Aird Tong was John Thomson (1780-1845) from Ness. His wife was Margaret Graham from Aird Tong and on the death of John Thomson the croft went to her sister, Mary Graham the widow of Angus Mackenzie of 15 Aird Tong. Mary passed the croft to their son, John Mackenzie (1821-1900) and 7 Aird Tong was passed to his son, John Mackenzie . When John   died the croft went to his nephew, Alexander Mackenzie and then to his niece Mrs Christina Smith.

• Cottars
• Murdo Maclean (1791-1881) a step-brother of Margaret Graham was a Cottar on the croft.
• In 1841 Angus Graham a son-in-law of John Thomson  (1780-1845) was also a Cottar on the croft and when the croft was given up he and his family moved to Guershader.
• Margaret Maclean (1790-1864) was a Cottar on 7 Aird Tong.
