110074: Cnoc Ard, New Tolsta

Cnoc Ard, New Tolsta was formerly the crofthouse at 4 New Tolsta. When 4 New Tolsta passed to Donald Morrison he created a feu around the house and re-named it. After Donald’s death Cnoc Ard passed to his brother John.

John Morrison and his wife Ann Morrison and their family had previously been living in London. The couple settled at Cnoc Ard for a number of years before going to live in a care home in Stornoway.

The house was then sold to its present owners.
