103963: Aird View, 77 Hill Street, North Tolsta

Murdo Murray and Catherine Macdonald built Aird View, North Tolsta in 1942 and had nine children: five girls and four boys. The first four were born while they were living in an extension to his mother’s house nearby at Seaview

After Murdo’s death Aird View was squatted in by a family from Coll. That family were eventually rehoused, by the council at 11 Airidh a Bhreide.

Aird View was then sold to Sheila and her husband.
