121143: HMT Northland
The SS Zeeland was a Dutch Ocean Liner built by John Brown & Company, Clydebank in 1901 for the Red Star Line. During the First World War her name was changed to HMT Northland as Zeeland sounded Germanic. She served as a Troopship in the early part of the War and later returned to the Transatlantic route. The SS Zeelander was sold for scrap in 1929.
