121033: SS Glen Head 87851

The SS Nant Gwynant was a Cargo Steamship built by John Redhead & Co, South Shields in 1883 for the Nant Gwynant Steam Ship Co, Liverpool. She was sold in 1896 to the Ulster Steamship Co, Ltd, Belfast and renamed SS Glen Head.

On December 8, 1934, on passage from Riga to Cork the SS Glen Head was wrecked near Nexo, Bornholm in the Baltic.
