The SS Glenshiel was a Cargo Steamship built by Charles Connell & Co Ltd, Scotstoun in 1909. She was renamed SS Highland Prince and SS Orion.
On passage from Sydney to Botwood on September 20, 1948 the SS Orion ran aground with her cargo of coal alight.
