120750: SS Treverbyn (142576)

The SS Treverbyn was a Steam Tanker built by Harland and Wolff,  Belfast for the Shipping Controller, London. She was built as SS War Maple, launched as SS War Airman and sold to the Hain Steamship Co and renamed SS Treverbyn.

On passage from Pepel to Cardiff, in Convoy, on October 21, 1941 the SS Treverbyn was torpedoed and sunk with the loss of 48 lives.
