95364: Donald Macleod

Donald Macleod married Gormelia Maciver; it is not certain where the couple spent their early marriage and had their first two children.

In 1820 Donald is recorded, by both name and nickname, as a subtenant of Old South Tolsta Tack.

In the 1830 croft lottings, the family obtained 10 Old South Tolsta, and had a further two children there. In total they had four children: three boys and a girl.

In due course 10 Old South Tolsta passed to their eldest son: Angus.
