93702: John Cameron

John (died 1940s) was a son of Donald Cameron and Catherine Anne Maciver of 68 North Tolsta.

John emigrated to Montreal in Canada prior to the 1930s. He lived in the borough of Verdun, where he worked as a milkman, using a horse and cart for milk deliveries.

John married a woman from the Isle of the Skye; they had two sons and a daughter.

The youngest of these, a son named Ewan, died young, without any children. The oldest child, another son, married a woman and had two sons and a daughter; the oldest of these, a son named Ian, died prior to the time of writing (July 2021). John’s middle child, a daughter, married a man; they had four children and eventually moved to Vancouver in British Columbia.
