Christina (1852-1929) was the daughter of Murdo Maciver and Ann Campbell of 5 Old North Tolsta.

In 1853 the family obtained 18 North Tolsta as a newly lotted croft.

Christina married widower Kenneth Murray, of 37 North Tolsta, and settled with him there. The couple had three children: two girls and a boy. Christina also gained step children Christina and Angus. 

In 1893 their eldest child, Anne, died in infancy.

In 1897 their youngest child, Isabella, died in infancy.

In 1904 Christina's step son died.
