Mary (1867-1942) was the daughter of Murdo Morrison and Catherine Macdonald of 5 North Tolsta.
Mary married Kenneth Macleod, of 53 North Tolsta, the couple settled at the cottars house at 53 North Tolsta; this house was feued off from the croft at some point and re-named 53 Hill Street, North Tolsta. The couple had five children: three boys and two girls.
Mary was widowed in 1910.
In 1921 Mary’s widowed sister died and Mary took in her two sons: Colin and Murdo.
