Catherine (1908-2000) was a daughter of John Mackenzie and Christy Kennedy, 11 Cromore.
The family moved to 9 Oliver's Brae, Stornoway and after her mother's death in 1918 her father married Isabella Macmillan, 34 Gravir in 1921. The family settled at 34 Gravir and moved to Stornoway before the Second World War.
At Inverness, in 1941, she married Donald Maclean from 18 Ranish and 33 Leurbost. Catherine gave her address as 70 Craigton Avenue, Inverness. Catherine and Donald settled at 18 Ranish and they had four children. After her husband's death the family settled at Murray Place, Stornoway. Their eldest son took over the croft at 18 Ranish.
