77488: Alexander MacLean
Alexander MacLean was born in 1883, the son of Lachlan MacLean and Marion MacCuish who lived on Vallay Farm. A farm labourer, Alexander married Ann MacAskill of Quay, Berneray in 1907. Together they were to have eight children, moving to North Uist, Skye and then the Bridge of Allan. Following Ann’s death in 1944 he married Barbara MacIntosh.
