76991: Roderick Finlay Paterson
Roderick Paterson was the youngest child of Finlay Paterson and Christina MacCuish of Geo Dhubh. Born in 1922, he became a pupil at Berneray School in 1928, later moving onto Inverness Royal Academy.
Roderick became a master mariner, settling in Hildenborough, Kent with his wife Elizabeth Coleman and two children. The family moved to The Willows, Backhill in about 1973. Roderick also owned ‘house 5’ at Quay.
