74222: Kate Ann Paterson

Kate Ann Paterson, born in 1901, was the daughter of Roderick Paterson and Mary Ann Paterson. Born in Aberdeen, she was a pupil at Berneray School between September 1910 and June 1911, having previously attended Campbeltown G School. Her guardian during her time at Berneray School was her grandfather Angus Paterson of 20/21 Borve.

Kate Ann married Donald Davidson in 1922, with whom she had a daughter Mary. When they decided to emigrate to Australia, Donald went ahead to find a home for the family. Kate Ann and Mary followed him to Melbourne in 1927.
