Ann was born in about 1841, the youngest child of Donald Campbell and Christina Morrison of Pabbay. Her widowed mother moved with the children to Berneray, where she became a cottar on 1/2 Ruisgarry (Sandhill). Ann married Donald MacKay of Obbe, which is presumably where they made their home.
