Malcolm Campbell
Malcolm Campbell was born in 1833, the eldest son of Donald Campbell and Christina Morrison of Pabbay. By 1861 he was living with his widowed mother on 1/2 Ruisgarry (Sandhill) on the neighbouring island of Berneray.
In 1863 he married Janet Grant at Duirinish, Skye. They made their home at Baile, where Malcolm worked as a merchant, later a fisherman. He and Janet had six children together.
