72245: Hotham George Christian
Dr Hotham George Christian, born 1856, from Punjab, India, was the son of Major Hugh Henry Christian and Anne Newton Christian.
He served as the medical practitioner on Berneray from the 1890s, lodging with Captain Archibald Paterson and wife, and subsequently Jessie MacLennan (née MacKenzie) at 8 Ruisgarry (Baile).
He died of tuberculosis in 1919 and was buried in the old cemetery on Sandhill.
