Flora MacLeod

Flora MacLeod was born in 1884, the eldest child of Donald MacLeod and Catherine MacAskill of Quay, Berneray. Flora became a domestic servant and married Roderick MacLeod, a cottar on croft 1/2 Ruisgarry (Sandhill) in 1906. Their daughter Catherine was born there in 1908, and the family subsequently emigrated to Cape Breton. Their son Alfred was born in Loch Lomond, Cape Breton around 1927.
