71722: Malcolm John Macdonald

Malcolm John (1917-2005) was a son of Malcolm Macdonald and Christina Macleod, 4 Crowlista. He trained and worked as a nurse in Glasgow prior to the Second World War. During the war he served in the Medical Corps. His first wife, Mary Stewart, died shortly after the war.

Malcolm John then emigrated to what was then Rhodesia where he met and married a South African woman who was thought to have French ancestry. He continued to work in Rhodesia but retired to South Africa. They had two daughters.
