Donald MacLeod
Donald MacLeod was born in 1782, the son of Angus MacLeod and Janet MacDermid. He married Catherine MacLeod and became a tenant in old Borve. In 1818 he was paying £5.10 rental and in 1830 £2.12.6. He remained a farmer until 1854, when the family was removed from Borve, and became cottars in Quay.
