John, son of Murdo, lived in Valtos then Erista where he was recorded on a rental as John Maccorrachie Brepiter. He relocated to Tom-an-Fhuadain in Gravir (possibly in 1773); had issue including; Murdo (soldier of the 78th), Andrew (married Mary Macdonald with issue) and Donald (am Breabadair Mor who moved to Uig).
