Iain Ruairidh
John (1818-1892) was a son of Roderick Maclennan and Catherine Mackenzie, 3 Altenish.
In Lochs, in 1841, he married Margaret Morrison, 11 Old Gravir. John and Margaret were cottars at 11 Old Gravir where they had their daughter, Catherine. In the 1852 lotting John obtained 27 Gravir.
Catherine died in 1868 and the couple moved to Bayhead, Stornoway in the 1870s. John was widowed in 1887.
