Christy (1857-1944) was a daughter of John Macaskill and Janet Morrison, 17 Gravir.
At Stornoway, in 1879, she married Angus Macphail, 19 Gravir. Christiy and Angus settled at 19 Gravir and they had six children.
The couple also raised their grandson, Malcolm after his mother Mary's death.
Christy was widowed in 1929.
