6002: John Walker
John (1856-1938) was originally from Glasgow and was the son of John Walker and Sarah Macdonald.
In 1879 he married Ann Macdonald of Tiree; the couple had seven children.
John was a grieve for the Reverend Donald MacCallum; in 1889 John and his family moved to the Grieves House, Keose Glebe, with Reverend MacCallum, from Tiree. In 1890, the family moved to the Grieve’s House, Manor Farm, Stornoway. The family returned to Tiree where they settled in Moss.
