Donald (1880-1936) was a son of John Kennedy and Elizabeth Montgomery, 33 Lemreway.
In Lochs, in 1908, he married Flora Nicolson, 22 Lemreway. Donald and Flora settled at 22 Lemreway and they had five children.
Donald served in the Seaforth Highlanders in the First World War and his named is mentioned in Loyal Lewis: Roll of Honour 1914-18.
He was a postman for many years and the first postmaster in Lemreway Post Office when it was opened in 1928.
