Annabella (1797-1881) was a daughter of William Mackenzie and Catherine Campbell, Cromore. It is not known where the family came from.
She married Alexander Macdonald, 6 Old Orinsay. Annabella and Alexander settled at 11 Old Orinsay and they had eleven children.
Orinsay was cleared in 1843 and the family moved to croft 4 Steinish.
Annabella was widowed in 1845 and was living at 17 Bayhead Street, Stornoway when she died.
