56104: Donald Mackenzie
Donald (1874-1943) was the son of Kenneth Mackenzie and Janet Martin, 2 Shieldinish.
He served as a Sergeant with the Seaforth Highlanders for many years. Whilst he was in Egypt on his way to the Boer War, his mother Janet wrote Òran Jasper for him.
In1909 he married Jessie Mackenzie of 54b Balallan.
