Kenneth, born c1825, was the youngest son of Kenneth and Catherine nee Smith, 30 Valtos. He was married to Christina nee Macleod, 31 Valtos and on the 1861 census is enumerated with her family.

They lived in Glasgow for some time (their son Kenneth was born Lanarkshire acc to 1871 census)

Kenneth's father gave him a third share of No 30 Valtos and after his death his widow, Christina, assumed tenancy.
