Iain Alasdair Iain
John (1858-1932) was a son of Alexander Macleod and Henrietta Smith, 1 Garyvard. His mother died in 1858 and his widowed Aunt Mary came to live with the family. His father married Janet Macmillan of 12 Kershader in 1868.
In Lochs, in 1880, he married Annabella Macleod, 5 Garyvard. John and Annabella initially lived with John's parents at 1 Garyvard and later settled at 1a Garyvard. The couple had six children.
