Gormelia (1816-1896) was a daughter of John Macleod and Catherine Macaulay, 18 Cromore. She married Finlay Smith, 19 Marvig. Gormelia and Finlay settled at 2 Cromore and they had two children.
Finlay was lost at sea and Gormelia moved to Cailean Thearlaich, the area by 25 or 26 Cromore.
