Murdo Martin (1924-1976) son of Finlay Martin and Isabella Macleod, 13 Balallan served with the RAF during the Second World War. He was residing in Glasgow when he married Mary Isabella Maclean, 5 Ruthven Street (and Bragar?). They were going to return to live in Balallan when Murdo died but his wife returned and eventually moved to Barvas.
