28235: Margaret Campbell

Margaret (died 1790) was the third daughter of Colin Campbell from Inversregan, Ardchattan. However, Leicester pedigrees and royal descents gives her place of origin as Inverseger.

In 1757 Margaret married a widower, John Macaulay, who was at the time the minister of the Parish of Lismore and Appin, Argyllshire. Margaret and John had twelve children:

In 1765 John was transferred Inverary, Argyllshire in 1765 and thereafter to Cardross in Dunbartonshire in 1774.
