2818: Margaret Macarthur

Margaret (1801-1882) was a daughter of John Macarthur and Margaret Smith, 20 Cromore.

In Lochs, in 1826, she married Donald Macmillan, from Eishken. Margaret and Donald settled at 18  Old Gravir and they had eight children.

Margaret was widowed in 1845 and in the 1852 lotting obtained 14 Gravir.

In 1871 she is living with her daughter, Christina at 32 Lemreway and in 1881 Margaret and her daughter, Ann are living in Lemreway.
