Marion (1853-1945) was a daughter of Donald Nicolson and Isabella Mackay, 6 Old Steimreway.
When Steimreway was cleared in 1857 the family were removed to 26 Lemreway.
In 1863 the family emigrated to Canada.
Marion was the wife of Donald Macdonald, Quebec formerly of 5 Garyvard. The couple settled at Lingwick and they had at least five children.
In the 1911 Canada Census Marion's mother, Isabella, aged 90 is living with the family.
Marion was widowed in 1943.
